The specification is suitable for both replacement doors into existing buildings and installation into new building work. It is ideal for the domestic market place.
Aluminium: Profiles are extruded from 6063 T6 alloy and comply with the recommendations of BS1474.
PVCu: Profiles are multi-chambered and are extruded from high grade windows material.
Aluminium: Polyester powder organic coating to BS6496 in White 9910 high gloss, Havana Brown 8912 satin, Black 9005 matt or agreed colours in matt or gloss finish. Anodised to BS3987 to a natural self colour and other agreed colours. Wood Grain effect finish in mahogany or light oak are also available.
PVCu: Solid white high gloss or woodgrain effect in mahogany or light oak.
Doors having been tested in accordance with the requirements of BS6375:Part 1 have achieved the following classification for weather tightness.
Air permeability Class C: 600pa
Water Tightness: 600pa
Wind Resistance: 2000pa
Outer Frame: 70mm.
Sealings: with extruded E.P.D.M rubbersand PP-brushes.
Glazing: externally beaded and internally beaded
