Horizontal Sliding Window

Materials:

Aluminium: Type 6063 T6 alloy to BS1474. Frame Corners are mitred and scree jointed with stainless steel self -tapping screws.

Finishing:

Standard Powder Coated to BS6496 1984 (White as standard) or Aluminium Anodised to BS3897, 1991.

Window Types and Size Limitations:

Single Light Duty Fixed Light:

Up to a maximum overall area of 1.8m2.

Single Fixed and Hinged Lights:

Fixed Light: Up to a maximum overall area of 2.2m2.

Hinged Lights: (hinge weight limit 4kg).

Side Hung - maximum 700mm (w) x 1800mm (h).

Top Hung - maximum 1500mm(w) x 600mm (h).

Double Side Hung - max 1400mm(w) x 1800mm(h).

Lift-Out:

Weight should not exceed 15kg.

4mm Glass = 1.5 m2.

6mm Glass = 1.0m2.

Horizontal Sliding:

Maximum load per roller 9kg.

Sliding Panel maximum:

standard meeting style 1200mm(w) x1300mm(h) heavy duty meeting style 1200mm(w) x 2000mm(h)

Vertical Sliding:

Weight should not exceed 13kg per pair on sash balances.

4mm Glass = 1.3 m2.

6mm Glass = 0.88m2.
