Description

Door and screen system providing the advantages of aluminium, light strong and resistant to wrapping, rot and rust on the outside and PVCu, warm to the touch with good insulation and requiring minimum maintenance on the inside

Applications

The specification is suitable for both replacement doors into existing buildings and installation into new building work. It is ideal for the domestic market place.

Materials

Aluminium: Profiles are extruded from 6063 T6 alloy and comply with the recommendations of BS1474.

PVCu: Profiles are multi-chambered and are extruded from high grade windows material.

Finishing

Aluminium: Polyester powder organic coating to BS6496 in White 9910 high gloss, Havana Brown 8912 satin, Black 9005 matt or agreed colours in matt or gloss finish. Anodised to BS3987 to a natural self colour and other agreed colours. Woodgrain effect finish in mahogany or light oak are also available.

PVCu: Solid white high gloss or woodgrain effect in mahogany or light oak.

Performance

Doors having been tested in accordance with the requirements of BS6375:Part 1 have achieved the following classification for weather tightness.

Air permeability Class C: 600pa

Water Tightness: 600pa

Wind Resistance: 2000pa

Details

Outer Frame: 70mm.

Sealings: with extruded E.P.D.M rubbersand PP-brushes.

Glazing: externally beaded and internally beaded

Minimum and Maximum limitations

Doors are manufactured to required design to within the following minimum and maximum limitations (subject to location and conditions).

1. Single Door max. Width 914mm.

2. Double Door max. Width 1800mm.

3. All doors max. Height 2400mm.

4. Single Open-in doors min. height 1771mm.

5. Double Open-in doors min. height 2091mm.

6. Single Open-out doors min. height 1762mm.

7. Putty Line Double Open-out doors min. height 1771mm.

9. Ovolo Double Open-out doors min. height 2082mm.
